PROSPECTIVE BUYERS

 

As a prospective buyer, it is important for you to understand the Transaction Procedures and Payment Method that we require for the successful completion of any transaction with Trans Sahara Imports.  These guidelines must be followed without exception.

 

Transaction Procedures

 

1.                   Buyer sends Letter of Intent (LOI);

2.                  Seller approves and sends Full Corporate Offer (FCO) and draft of contract within 24-72 hours of receipt of confirmation letter;

3.                  Buyer approves, signs  and stamps (with corporate seal) the FCO and draft of contract, and returns this document to Seller within 24-72 hours;

4.                  Seller signs and stamps (with corporate seal) the final contract and returns original copies visa international courier to Buyer within five to ten (5-10) international banking days;

5.                  Seller issues pre-advice (non-operative) Performance Bond (PB) within standard procedural time outlined in the contract;

6.                  Buyer issues the pre-advice Letter of Credit (LC) within standard procedural time outlined in the contract;

7.                  Seller approves LC within standard procedural time outlined in the contract;

8.                 Seller posts the PB and bank-to-bank Proof of Purchase (POP) thus, automatically activating Buyer’s LC within standard procedural time outlined in the contract;

9.                  Buyer’s LC is activated by Seller’s PB and bank-to-bank POP within standard procedural time outlined in the contract.

 

 Payment Method

 100% Irrevocable, Transferable, Divisible, Revolving, Fully-Funded (or 100% Bank Guarantee) Documentary Letter of Credit and/or confirmed by a prime world bank payable 100% at sight in full against loading documents.
